Wayne has been in the construction industry since starting as a trainee rigger on the construction of Tarong Power Station back in 1982. Since then he has gained experience in a vast diversity of jobs.

History of Liftrite Rigging & Crane Hire


This is an Australian Family Owned Crane Hire business recently registered as we strive to bring improvements into the Crane Industry.

 

Wayne started rigging back in 1982 on the construction of Tarong Power Station in South Eastern Queensland. Since then he has worked on quite a variety of projects ranging from construction, mining, expansion projects, service maintenance and HRWL Training, and now Director of his own business.

  • Mining, Expansion Projects and Maintenance has seen him in most Coal Mines in Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin. Along with Ship Loading Facilities, Sugar Mills, Refineries, also over to Mt. Newman Iron Ore Mine and Woodside Gas Plant, both of which are in Western Australia.

    Up until quite recently he has been a Trainer and Assessor for Worksafe High Risk Work Licences in Dandenong, Victoria.


    He has finally bought himself an AT20 Franna crane and will be hiring it out for general crane work in and around Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland, with more to come in the near future.

    His wife, Josie, will play a leading role within the business by taking care of the paperwork, wages and inquiries.
