Erecting New signs At a BP Servo.

The unloading and standing of signs at a BP Servo.

I was hired in to unload two new signs from a semi and then stand and position them.

The Service Station part was open so we had to organise the lifts in advance to minimise the shutdown time involved to halt traffic through the servo.

Once the Servo had been closed to the public we maneuvered the truck into position to unload the first sign then the second. Once unloaded the truck left leaving room for us to stand the first sign.

Once stood, the sign was positioned and secured to its footings with the aid of an Electrical Spotter as we were so close to the power lines. The sign was then disconnected from the franna with the aid of a Boom Lift. We then prodeeded to stand the second sign which was the same procedure.

All up the time on site was about an hour or so.

The client was wrapped that it was done with care and that the task was completed safely.
