Using our 20t Franna Crane to build a mould.

I was hired to assist with the construction of an inground mould for precast rail beams. I am doing general lifts as required by the client in the construction process. The mould will make 4 beams at a time which equates to 2 rail sections at a time. Each individual beam will weigh 90t when formed and will be trucked to site by heavy haulage trucks where the beams will be positioned and joined in position.

Above the inground mould will be erected two 100t gantry cranes which will be used to seal the mould for pouring and also to lift and load the finished product onto the transport vehicles.
